1/48 U.S. Main Battle Tank M1A2 Abrams
Tamiya is delighted to announce this new kit of the M1A2 Abrams in 1/48 scale. The M1 Abrams has served as the main battle tank for U.S. forces over multiple decades, and the M1A2 variant was rolled out from 1992.
It received a plethora of technological upgrades, making it capable of maintaining a lead role on the modern battlefield. Its first deployment was in 2003, during operations in Iraq.
About the Model
• This is a 1/48 scale plastic model assembly kit. Length: 205mm, width: 77mm.
• The refined form of the M1A2 Abrams is depicted in compact yet detailed scale.
• Details such as anti-slip surfaces are captured with accuracy.
• Assembly type tracks feature straight sections for a highly realistic finish.
• Kit includes weight for installation in the model and a realistically heavy feel.
• 2 marking options are included to recreate U.S. Army 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment M1A2s from 2003 in the Iraq War.
