The Convict 1/8 Buggy race tire has been a go-to, long-lasting race tire perfect for main events. A lightweight and more versatile version of the popular world-championship-winning Fugitive, the Convict features strategically placed small connecting bars that improve the stability of the tire tread, which is especially important when used in softer compounds. Now, the proven Convict pattern is available as the Convict 2.0, constructed on Pro-Line's latest generation carcass profile that utilizes a single arc to create the sidewall geometry, then transitions from the sidewall to the crown with a larger radius resulting in a rounder and less edgy appearance. This carcass provides a tailored fit to the wheel and insert package, making mounting a breeze. Racers can expect the Convict tires to deliver improved consistency, drivability, and durability.
The Convict 2.0 is available in four popular compounds (M3 & M4 for watered tracks, S3, S4& S5 long wear for more abrasive dry tracks) and includes our latest generation closed cell foam insert.
